Bushfire Recovery Program

As the devastating impact of the Black Saturday bushfires continues to becomes apparent and communities sustain efforts to rebuild, Evolve has formed a partnership with the Department of Education (Hume Region) to assist in responding to those affected by this disaster.

In conjunction with a number of schools in affected regions and the local communites in which they are located, Evolve works to respond to the needs of young people who are exhibiting indications of increased risk of social and developmental challenges following the bushfires.

Under an innovative and unique 12-month program model combining Narrative therapeutic approaches in a bush setting as well as intensive in-school support (in collaboration with school welfare teams and community networks) Evolve supports these young people to develop the resilience necessary to ensure a healthy and positive future.

Evolve is priveleged to be working with and learning from, these courageous and strong individuals, families and communities.
