Evolve at Typo Station Andrew Peach Jim Owens

Andrew Peach

Title: Educational Development Program Manager (Collingwood & on-campus)
In a Nutshell:
'Peachy' - our cool, calm and collected schools-based program manager. Can usually be seen driving between Collingwood, Hoppers Crossing and Typo Station listening to talking books!

Tools of the trade:
Bachelor of Education (Physical Education), Graduate Certificate (Outdoor Education), Certificate II (Sport & Recreation)
In A Past Life: Why Evolve?
“I believe that the work I do everyday makes a positive difference to a young person’s life and I believe that all Evolve’s programs and staff share this vision.”
Where I go for my ‘Wilderness Therapy’:
The ocean – in particular, Kilcunda surf beach, right in front of the bridge on a pushing tide with 4-6 foot sets and a light North Easterly breeze… especially at sunset – GOLD!
Place I grew up:
Moe – on five acres with horses and plenty of space and time
Furry support crew:
Two cats – Oliver & Henri. The funny thing is that he didn’t really like cats much before these two sauntered into his life!
Two things I can’t live without:
The ability to regularly escape the rat race and the city and spend some time on my own, and red wine
Two things I can live without:
The traffic coming home from The Grange, and the traffic going to The Grange during peak hour – just traffic I guess!
Not many people know this, but: I hate the taste of bananas and even the smell can make me feel sick!
