Evolve is thrilled to offer our supporters the opportunity to help us when they have an occasion to spoil friends or family members with our online gifting store. By using Evolve gifting, you are showing our young people that you believe in them and want to contribute to their positive future. You are also giving a meaningful gift to someone special instead of foisting more stuff onto them! With one purchase, you give three times:

1. Once to a friend or loved one, providing them with a positive and uplifting experience for that special occasion;
2. Twice to our at-risk or disadvantaged young people, enabling them to get more from our programs; and
3. Lastly, to us, ensuring we can keep providing a supportive environment for disadvantaged young people to evolve into strong, caring and purposeful individuals.

How Does Gifting Work?

Gifting has been made popular by charity groups such as Oxfam International and it is a concept which results in a gift that provides benefit many times over. The basic premise is that instead of buying your friend a tangible gift for them to keep, you purchase goods that will assist someone less fortunate on your friend's behalf. Instead of getting more 'stuff' they get the 'feel-good high' that comes from making a positive difference to society (oh, and a beautifully designed e-card of course!).

How Does The Money Get Used?

With Evolve's Gifting Store, you can choose from one of eleven items that will assist us in delivering our Young Men's Program to more at-risk Victorians. They range from $20 to $1,200 and include a variety of goods and services that we rely upon to run all of our programs. If you select a sleeping bag, for example, then that money will be used to purchase a new sleeping bag for our gear shed that will be used for the hiking components of the Young Men's Program and the Leadership Development Program (see our website for more information on the variety of programs run by Evolve). Your friend, colleague or family member will also receive an e-card explaining how the item you've selected to donate on their behalf helps us make a positive difference in disadvantaged young people's lives.

How Does This Help Evolve?

Much like the generous in-kind donations we receive, the purchase of Evolve Gifting Store items contributes significantly to the basic upkeep of Typo Station and allows us to instead focus on helping more young people, parents, schools and communities through the development of our programs and staff.
