2011 Typo Station Community Open Day & Young Men's Program Graduation

The highlight of our year down in Victoria, community open day at Typo is a chance for all our supporters and the locals to get together and enjoy this beautiful property, and celebrate with boys from the 2009 intakes of the Young Men's Program as they finish their two-year journey with Evolve. There were lots of fun activities and things to get involved in, plus our annual Schools Bush Yarns Competition. Get all the details here.

The Young Men's Program Chef's Special Medieval Feast a Huge Success!

Our annual Chef's Special follow up program for lads interested in hospitality concluded this week with their grand Medieval Feast at Typo Station for forty guests and supporters - read about this terrific night and see photos of possibly the best suckling pig ever here!

Rotary Club of Rowville-Lysterfield Tommy Hafey Breakfast

Evolve were invited to join the Rotary Club of Rowville-Lysterfield for thier fundraising breakfast with AFL coaching legend and incredible motivational speaker, Tommy Hafey. As well as enjoying breakfast at the Kingston Links Golf Club and bidding on a piece or two of sporting memorabilia (Juddy and Black Caviar brought the big $$!) on October 20, Evolve staff were presented with a cheque for $1,500 from the Club. A big thank you to the Club and those who supported the breakfast.

The 2011 Typo Station Winter Work Party!

Thank you to all those folk who made the trek up to our beautiful Typo Station for our Winter Work Party. A range of jobs got done at the Station in early August and it was great to hear all the great feedback about the food and freindship from across the weekend!
     

 

 

Farm World 2010

Our wonderful Evolve supporters Honda will be at Farm World 2010 with their huge interactive site and have decided to showcase Evolve at the exhibition, exposing and promoting the work we do and the partnership Honda and Evolve enjoy. It has grown to be Victoria's largest regional agricultural event, attracting more than 650 exhibitors and 50,000 people through the gates over the 4 days.

Farm World will showcase a range of unique hardware, software, internet and telecommunication options available to farmers to assist them to manage their operations.
     
   

Afternoon Delight!

Over 160 supporters from the Goulburn Valley gathered at the beautiful GV Hotel in Shepparton on November 28 to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea with preeminent Australian media personality, Ray Martin to raise funds for Evovle - read more about this event here.

    Evolve staff run 10km to raise money for Evolve!

Whilst 10km may seem like a long distance, spare a thought for Evolve's young people who walk up to 100km in the bush - rain, shine or snow!! On the 28th of June, Sasha Molodtsov waved the Evolve flag at Run Melbourne raising awareness and funds for at-risk young people.

    Passion, Performance, Possibility

An audience of 170 people enjoyed the amazing talents of young musicians as Kew’s Holy Trinity Church, including Stephen Kerr. This inspiring recital introduced Evolve to many new supporters and raised funds to enable us to help more young people.
