Station Hand Donor Program

Stability is incredibly important for for any small charity to have and our high level donors - our Station Hands - provide us with some of that security through their pledged donations. There are three ways you can become a Station Hand today and help us continue to offer quality programming to a greater number of disadvantaged young people.

What is a Station Hand?

A Station Hand is an individual, couple, family, group or company who makes or pledges a donation/s totaling $600 or more per financial year. These donations and pledges enable us to be a little more certain about our funding situation and move forward confident in the knowledge that we can maintain our programs for young people.

What does being a Station Hand mean?

Aside from being adored by our finance staff, it means that you are able to become a little closer to the Evolve family, through priority invitations and offers, and exclusive communications.

These include:

• An exclusive Station Hand newsletter, The Station Hand Round Up, issued quarterly in addition to your Bush Telegraph newsletter, with more information and news tailored especially for our high end donors
• An exclusive Station Hand group on the professional networking site, LinkedIn, allowing you to make valuable business contacts with fellow Station Hands
• Priority invitations to events hosted by Evolve and our partners
• Opportunities to visit Typo Station and be involved with the young people we assist
• Special acknowledgement of tenured supporters (at five and 10 years)
• As with all donations to Evolve, Station Hand pledges are fully tax deductable and tax receipts are issued within two weeks of the conclusion of the financial year.

SO HOW DO I BECOME A STATION HAND?

You can qualify for our Station Hand donor program in a number of ways:

Direct Debit Pledge

Would you miss $50 a month from your bank statement? If the answer is no, then what are you waiting for! Many of our Station Hands choose to have a direct debit of $50 or more made from their everyday transaction account by Evolve on the first of each month. In this way, we know we can count on your $600 donation and you don't need to worry about a thing until the following year!

Simply complete the Station Hand application form, ticking the Direct Debit option, and return to Evolve. You will receive a welcome pack to confirm your Station Hand status and the amount indicated on your application form will be debited directly from your account on the first day of the next month.

Immediate Donation

Any donation of $600 or more immediately qualifies you as a Station Hand until the end of the current financial year, regardless of whether you complete an application form or not. If you would like to make a donation now, please download the Station Hand application form and return to us with payment details.

Pledged Culmulative Donation

You can pledge to donate a total of $600 or more, composed of one donation a little later in the year, or several smaller donations across the financial year as you choose. This option is more flexible than the direct debit, allowing you to make donations only a few times a year, and of varying amounts.

For example, you may pledge on your Station Hand application form to donate $600 and send us a cheque for $300 now, $200 after you receive your tax return and maybe the remaining $100 in the new year. You don't need to stipulate the amounts or dates, only commit to making a total donation across the financial year.

Passive Culmulative Donation

Any donor who has not signed up as a Station Hand but donates a total of $600 or more within the financial year is automatically categorised as a Station Hand donor and will be issued a welcome pack. Unlike pledge donors, passive donors are not entitled to the 'benefits' of the Station Hand donor program until the $600 level is reached.
