The Get REAL Program is early-intervention in intent and targets Year 8 & 9 students in the Logan and Scenic Rim Shire who are at risk of educational disengagement.

The Year 8 segment of the Get REAL Program is more intensive and is aimed at assisting young people struggling with the transition into high school. It is focused on building confidence, capacity, social skills and school engagement

For Year 9 students, the Get REAL Program is far more intensive, and is aimed at young people dealing with significant issues that have increased their risk of disengagement. The program provides the students with an opportunity to master demanding challenges within an environment which promotes positive social values such as selflessness and personal responsibility.
